When you are injured on the job you often have more than one type of claim. You may have a workers compensation claim and a negligence claim against a third party (a party other than your employer). You may not file a negligence claim against your employer. Your sole remedy against your employer is to file a workers compensation claim.

Many firms handle only workers compensation claims or only negligence claims. Our firm handles both types of claims. That means in most cases both of your claims remain in our office and are not referred out to another attorney.  This is advantageous to the client because when cases are handled by separate firms there is often a lack of coordination in the global pursuit of both claims. Our firm will develop a strategy to handle each type of claim so that we can maximize your recovery.

Our office is located right across the street from both the State of Illinois building where Cook County workers compensation claim are heard and the Daley center, where many personal injury cases are heard. We also handle cases throughout the state of Illinois.

Our fee is a contingent fee which means you do not have to come up with any money up front and are only charged a fee upon the succesful resolution of your claim. As always, there is no charge for an initial consultation.
